It all began with my own engagement and wedding planning. We were working with a pretty moderate budget and I had a large bridal party (9 bridesmaids), so we were looking for any way to save money! One day, my sister found some pictures of fabric bouquets online and showed them to me and my mom. We instantly became interested. The more research we did, the more my mom and I realized that we could DO this and save a lot of money! We then began watching online tutorials and got to work. It was a trial and error process that took months to perfect, but eventually we began assembling bouquets. For the entire wedding, we made 9 bridesmaids bouquets, my bridal bouquet, 1 flower girl bouquet, 2 mother bouquets, several corsages, and even  5 kissing balls for the altar and vestibule. We were amazed at how beautiful they looked...but also how inexpensive it was compared to real flowers! As the "guinea pig" bride, I was so happy with how everything turned out! I began advocating to everyone (especially my almost-to-be-engaged friends) how awesome fabric flowers are for weddings!

Soon after, one of my good friends, who was planning her wedding, hired me to do her fabric flowers! I was so excited to have my first "client", and I was ready to keep spreading the word!
